Simple & organized todos
With Stashpad, you can jot down Todos to the right place, no matter what you're doing. This leads to less maintenance later and more sustainable organization. You can also re-arrange todos and apply formatting to reflect priority and organization.
Getting Started with Todos in Stashpad

Create a Todo stack
You can start by creating a Todos stack. Type "Todos" and hit enter. Then drag Todos into your left sidebar.

Add Todos
Jot down your todos one at a time.

Reorder your todos
Reorder todos in your list using cmd ↑ (Mac) and ctrl↑ (Windows/Linux).
Alternatively, reorder using drag and drop. Select the drag handler on the left side of a note available on hover.

When reordering, you can also send directly to top (front) by hitting F or to bottom by hitting B.
Stay organized without overhead
By compartmentalizing as you write, you create less organizational work for you to do later. This makes maintenance easier.
One-click approach
When you think of a Todo, you can jot it down in your designated todo list in Stashpad by clicking on Todos in the left sidebar and then writing your Todo.
Note that you can bring up Stashpad at any time using cmdshift0 on Mac and ctrl shift0 on Windows/Linux. You can also customize this keybinding.
Keyboard-driven approach
An even faster way to compartmentalize your todo is to use the destination picker.
How this works is you can write your Todo in the text box, no matter where you are, then type cmdD or ctrlD to select Todos as the destination. Then hit enter to submit your note. This will create your note in Todos without ever navigating there.

Triage-later approach
Alternatively, you can write your Todo in Home and move it to Todos later using the 'M' command.

Mark up your todos
Mark as done
When you complete a todo, you can mark it as done using the X key.

Assign color
Assign a color to a todo or to the Todo stack itself using the "assign color" command.
Select a note and type cmd K (Mac) or ctrl K (Windows/Linux). Then type to filter for the "assign color" command.
